Arsovski, Bodan (Kumanovo, 22. ⅳ 1956) – instrumentalist and composer. Members in several rock groups (“diamonds”; “Iris”); One is from the founders of the group “Bread and Sol” (1976). Arsovski, Milan
Arsovski, Milan (village Scotzi, Veles, 18. ⅱ 1924 – Skopje, 3. ⅰ 2000) – full professor at the Mining and Geology Faculty in Stip. He graduated from the Geology Faculty (MKI) in Moscow, Russia (1952), and received a PhD at the Mining and Geological Faculty in Belgrade, Serbia (1960). An eminent geologist-tectonic, who dedicated his entire working century to the studies in the field of tectology, neotectonics and seismotectonics. Realized several scientific-research projects in Russia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Algeria, Tunisia, and as an expert of UNESCO after Seemotectonics worked in Burma, Bulgaria, Romania, etc. He devoted most of his working life to regional and seismotectic studies on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia, which published several scientific papers. Arsovski, Pance Krstev
Arsovski, Pance Krstev (Skopje, 1922 – 13. Xi 1944) – worker, political and military head. Originated from a teacher family. After the elementary school, he studied the shafrary craft. As a Mandiff, he became a member of Ursa Trade Unions (1938) and a member of the Board of the Trade Union branch office of leather workers (1939 – late 1940). He was one of the organizers of the music section of KUD “Abrasevic”. After the April war (1941) he was admitted to a candidate member, and soon a member of the CPY and head of the party cell of leather workers (June 1941). Since the work of KUD “Abrasevic” was banned, was one of the initiators for the establishment of the Music Society “Macedonia” (end of June 1941), which from the maintained performances collected material funds for folk aid. Party acted in Skopje villages. After one action he was arrested (September 1941) and sentenced to three years and four months, and he served the prison sentence in Skopje prison and Pleven and Varna (Bulgaria). After returning (March 1944), continued the party activity and entered the units of New and Pom (June 1944). Soon he was appointed political commissioner in the third battalion of the Twelfth Macedonian (Skopje) but Brigade (September 1944). As a shot group commander in the fighting for the liberation of Skopje, he was wounded and died in street fighting. Arsovski, Peter (Maiden, Veles, 12. ⅵ 1945) – Film and Theater actor. He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje. The film debuted in the military drama “Macedonian part of Hell” (1971), making it very spontaneity the role of the young partisan, whose death causes a ritual call of retaliation. Following are more complex dramatic tasks in the films: “Shot”, “Judgment”, “Time, leads” and “I said.” In “Happy New ’49” accomplish a character of a cynical mobster, in the best traditions of the gangster film; In “Tattoo” confirmed the thesis that the episodist can make a masterpiece of a small role. Arsovski, Tihomir (Skopje, 18. 1929) – Architect and urbanist. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Skopje (1959). He worked at the Institute for Urbanism and Architecture of the City of Skopje and the Committee for Urbanism and Protection of the Human Environment in the Assembly of the City of Skopje. He was elected associate professor at the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (1981). Apart from the architectural and urban design, it also deals with the scientific and research work of the artistic heritage. He participated in more anonymous competitions. He was the chief designer and head in the preparation of the General Urban Plan of the City of Skopje (1965) and the project for the Old Skopje Bazaar. Significant realizations: trade-craft facilities in the Old Skopje Bazaar (1968) with M. Tomic and A. Arsovski, Tome (Kosovska Mitrovica, 23. IX 1928 – Skopje, 21. ⅳ 2007) – poet, short story writer, drama author, translator. For many years he works as a playwright in the Macedonian Radio Television, and a member of the Macedonian DPM since 1959. He debuted with the poetry “Great Laughter” (1958), but the attention of Macedonian criticism turns real with his first drama “Aleksandra” (1958). He is the author of a number of plays, which practice the poetics of the lirical-realistic and psychological-realistic dialogue. His drama texts can be grouped into three groups: plays with historical topics, hired contemporary plays and comedies, and the plays “Diogen’s paradox”, “hoops” and “step by autumn” represent some kind of trilogy for the paradoxical hero located in a modern time and in a completely specific contemporary environment. Artistic crafts – specially perfected crafts with artistic taste. During ⅹⅰⅹ c. In Macedonia were brought to the level of art. Artemis.
Artemis – one of the most respected deities in Macedonia, a female pandas of Dionysus. As a goddess of nature and forests, the rocks in Philippi is represented by the Tony Artimea Destrophoros; The terracotty found in Varos and Pella is shown with Cup poppy in the hair; In Amphol is a deity-bull – Artemis Taurotolos. It receives different names associated with Macedonian Topalle of Artemis, (Stobi, ⅰ c.) Nimi (peasantitis, gazorethis), who speak for an autochthonous deity. Artemkin, Ivan.
Artemckin, Ivan (1897 -?) – Architect, Russian immigrant. Its fruitful architectural activity covers the period between the two world wars. It projected a growing number of individual family houses and residential buildings in Skopje where it had a technical bureau. In his facilities, neoclassical and neoclassical elements (until 1932), and then builds in the spirit of modern rationalism. After World War II (until 1978) worked in the Architectural Department of the Ministry of Construction, after which it was moved to Bulgaria. Arthropods
Arthropods (arthropoda) – Organisms whose body is composed of many parts (member). According to the number of representatives, the type of arthropods dominates the animal world. According to some authors, their number is over 1,500,000 species. They inhabit all the life environments (water, land and aerial). Their large adaptive radiation conditioned widespread, from the north to the south pole, from the deepest more polls to the highest places and from the dry areas to the wet rainforests. And in the fauna of Macedonia, arthropodes are represented by the largest number of taxa, many of which are endemic. Artificial insemination of animals in the Republic of Macedonia – was first introduced in the cattle in 1953, as a method of combating the bare and improving the racial composition and productivity in cattle. In 1953 The first 197 cows were insigned. The artificial insemination of sheep as a method for improving shepherd production in Macedonia was introduced in 1947., when the first 200 sheep were insigned. Artificial lakes in the Republic of Macedonia
Artificial lakes in the Republic of Macedonia. A total of 110 artificial lakes were located, out of which 21 have more than 1,000,000 m water, and others accumulate 3 water less than 1,000,000 m. They are built by man with certain purposes and for certain purposes, such as: water supply of settlements and industry, irrigation of agricultural areas, electricity production, tourism and recreation, ribergene, flood protection, and torrents, for waterfall, core and for other purposes. According to the accumulated amount of water, they are divided into large and small. The group of large artificial lakes includes: Tikvesh Shpilje, Mavrovo, Kozjak Kalimanci Strezevo, Globochica, Ratevska, Lipkovsko, Glaznja, Youth, Prilep, Turija, Mantova, Vodocha, Paljurci, Konjsko, Small Town, Canyon, Mavrovica and Slatina Lake. In small reservoirs, the highest number is built in the lower and middle basin of the r. Assal, Ben Sytov (Stip, 1904 – Treblinka, 1943) – bookshop, founder of the Youth Jewish Choir and the Youth Drama Section in Stip. Himself directed the performances performed on the Ladino language. Asamati
Asamati -. Contemporary tourist settlement on the coast of Prespa Lake. In prehistoric archeology known after the site St. Sunday, on which the residues of an object and in it groups of fragmented ceramic vessels were detected with trial (1978-1979). It is considered to be a pottery workshop of a small fishing settlement from the late bronze time, with ethnocultural affiliation of the Pale Balcan tribe of Brigi, which inhabited the Ohrid Pressan Basin, part of the territory of Albania and Epirus (in Greece). Ascension, St.
“Ascension, St.” – a one-aisled church with a semicircular vault, built on the left bank of River Otinja (Stip). The funds for the construction provided Duke Dimitrie in 1369. It is built of carved stone and mortar. Unknown masters-builders in the construction, especially attention, dedicated to the northern facade, shaped with three deep niches. In the middle niche there is a bean window that illuminates the space inside the church. The walls are frescoes in two layers. Ascension, Andrew (Andreja Andreevich Vanskiy) (Moscow, 5. ⅻ 1933) – Russian poet, free creator. He wrote an experimental poetry that always relied on the tradition of the Russian avant-garde. Ashik Celebi (Prizren, 1518 – Skopje, 1572) – Scientist, poet and Skopje kadi, identical to Kadi Baba or Gazi Baba, whose turbe is located in Skopje, on the eponymous hill. He was Mutejelelia in Bursa, then Kadia in several places in the empire, and in Macedonia in: Serfidze, Kratovo and Skopje, where he died. Ashkenazi
Ashkenazi – Jews from Northern European countries, whose speech-speaking language is a combination of several languages with Hebrew Scriptures. Smaller groups Ashkenazi settled on the Balkan Peninsula at the time of the Crusades. Their migration has intensified under pressure from the Catholic Church in the second half of ⅹⅳ c.
