Torrip – two-phase flow (liquid and hard stage), with sudden occurrence and short-term effect, in open troughs and high content of hard material (up to 60%). It occurs as a consequence of intensive precipitation, sudden snow melt, and in conditions of lightly floor tables on the slopes and slope sufficient for leakage of the torrid mass. Provide various damages (on roads, bridges, houses, sedimentation in flattened parts, fertile soils, in reservoirs and lakes, etc.). For successful arrangement of torrential basins, it is necessary to organize biological and technical measures. According to the “erosion map in the Republic of Macedonia” (1993), 1,245 torrents were registered, of which 46% are in the and-ⅲ category of destruction. Significant torrents in the Republic of Macedonia are: Kamenicka Reka, Jeopchish Poroj, Mad Mara, Foam, Negotin Reka, Kumanovka, etc. I. B.
