Arsovski, Milan (village Scotzi, Veles, 18. ⅱ 1924 – Skopje, 3. ⅰ 2000) – full professor at the Mining and Geology Faculty in Stip. He graduated from the Geology Faculty (MKI) in Moscow, Russia (1952), and received a PhD at the Mining and Geological Faculty in Belgrade, Serbia (1960). An eminent geologist-tectonic, who dedicated his entire working century to the studies in the field of tectology, neotectonics and seismotectonics. Realized several scientific-research projects in Russia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Algeria, Tunisia, and as an expert of UNESCO after Seemotectonics worked in Burma, Bulgaria, Romania, etc. He devoted most of his working life to regional and seismotectic studies on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia, which published several scientific papers.
