Delchev, Georgi Goce (Kukush, 4. ⅱ 1872 – p. Banica, Sisco 4 ⅴ 1903) – ideologist, organizer and leader of the Macedonian revolutionary national liberation movement in the end of ⅹⅰⅹ and the beginning of ⅹⅹ c. He was educated in Kukush, where he finished the ProGIMIMIMUMA education (1879-1887), in Thessaloniki, in the Bulgarian high school “St. Cyril and Methodius “(1888-1891) where he was running a secret student revolutionary circle, and in Sofia at a military school (1891-1894). He returned to Macedonia (1894) and Stip was a teacher in Novo Selo. Here he met with Dame Gruev and joined the management of the Secret Macedonian Revolutionary Organization. He expanded the organization’s network (spring in 1895) and through Vinica organized secret channels. In Thessaloniki participated in counseling with the leading figures of the MRO: Dame Gruev, Pere Toshev and Ivan Haji Nikolov, for taking a position towards the Macedonian Committee founded in Sofia, later renamed the Supreme Macedonian Committee. In September, he was appointed director of the school in Stip. Before the end of December 1895 Delchev empowered by the Macedonian Central Committee, traveled to Sofia to work on preventing interference from Bulgaria into the internal affairs of the Macedonian liberation work. Organized MoRutil Points in Kyustendil and Dupnitsa (in early 1896), and in February in Stip, he organized a protest demonstration against power. He participated in the Thessaloniki Croar (5-12. Gjorce Petrov prepared the Constitution and the Rulebook of the Organization (1896), published and distributed in 1897, where the goal of the organization’s action was to won political autonomy for Macedonia and for a revolution. Delcev in Stip was arrested (Iv Goce Delchev with the rebels 1896) in connection with the affair with the seizure of the bombs in Bitola, and in May he was again arrested and conducted in Skopje where he was imprisoned in Kurshumli-An. In September, Delcev was appointed chief teacher (director) in Bansko, where he continued the activity for spreading the network of the revolutionary organization. He gave up teaching duty (XI 1896) and fully dedicated to the Macedonian liberation work. He took office of the Border Representative of the MRO in Sofia (from 16. ⅻ). By letter to the Catholic Archbishop in Plovdiv, menus (in ⅶ 1898), the Vatican presented the goal of the Macedonian struggle: to correct the unreliable solution of the Berlin Treaty for Macedonia and to obtain full political autonomy. The duty of border representative was performed up to 6. ⅹ 1901. and was a movable member of the Central CC. In that capacity, it was dedicated to the functioning of the secret channels, the courier service, the secret mail, the provision of tangible assets and supply of the organization with weapons, ammunition, with revolutionary literature and newspapers.
