Govesevo -. Village 15 km southwest of Skopje with a multifaceted Neolithic settlement at the area of Cerje. Archaeological research in 1982-1985 and 2000-2004. Performed the Museum of the City of Skopje. In the collected cultural layers, in a thickness of 4 m and surface coverage of over 4 hectares contain six horizons of living through which all manifestations of the Macedonian Neolithic (B-IV Millennium BC) are contained. The horizon and is grounded in toast in the original humus, and time coincides with the early Neolith, Anzabegovo-Vrnik I. The following three horizons are developed through the middle Neolith, Anzabegovo-Tavern ⅱ-IV. Horizon is in the late Neolith and is parallel with Zelenikovo ⅱ, as well as the last ⅵ horizon. With this stage, the life of this settlement in prehistory is completed, to be updated later in the historic Roman period. The Neolithic houses are overhead, with entry from the east, have an approximately square basis and properly placed in the east-west axes, north-south. They are built in a plate technique with floor coating and charge, separated into two rooms. In the northern room in the western corner, a walled stove was placed, which relies on the south side mill-nights. From the movable findings, the presence of ceramic tools, stone and bony tools and jewelry is great. Decorating the vessels is performed with barbotin, enforcement, impressive, as well as painting with white and multinistered brown, with motifs of drops, parallel lines and triangles to circles and spirals. There are also various anthropomorphic forms and zoomorphic statuettes, and as exceptional are the figures of the great mother-ancide, the male figure “Adam”, anthropomorphic head and the flight with engraved semetemas.
