Men (MSC) – small two-scale insects with long antennas. They are considered peaceful mosquitoes, who do not have a bump. They live in compost, in rotting plant residues, and larvae, most often, has on forest mushrooms, in old trees, etc. The most famous representative of this family is Squary militaris, whose larvae meet in the forest stela, sometimes collected in a thousand colony in the form of a narrow tape.
