Nationalization – an act of seizing property from private owners and its transfer owned by the state, as a rule, with a certain fee. In the socialist countries, and in that context, in Macedonia, in contrast to countries with a market economy, nationalization was comprehensive, was implemented with a kind of “forced regulations”, contrary to the will of the owners and mainly determined by ideological motifs – establishing socialist property Above the means of production, or construction of a socialist society. In Macedonia, starting from 2. ⅷ 1944, on the basis of numerous laws and regulations, the following types of property were nationalized: Agricultural Park “Pelister” land, forests and forest land, pastures and mornings, as well as commercial buildings, tractors and living goods; Private enterprises, mainly hotels, restaurants, bread and leaders; Residential buildings and business premises; Large livestock possessions with over 400 heads sheep, along with the chair and inventory, etc. On this basis, the core of socialist state ownership was formed, which later became socially owned. For nationalized assets, a monetary compensation was envisaged, which or not paid, or paid with symbolic sums, because of the former owners most often rejected it.
