Soil erosion -. The most widespread and most important type of soil degradation. Erosia depends on the series of natural and anthropogenic factors, among which in the first place is the destruction of natural vegetation. In the distant past, 95% of the territory of the Republic of Macedonia was covered with natural forest vegetation. With its destruction and degradation, large areas of pastures, arable land and gulls (340,000 ha) were obtained. In us erosion is so more intense as precipitation with a more pronounced torrential character, how much the slope of the terrain is postmen, how much the erodibility of the soil and the substrate is larger, how natural vegetation is more severely degraded or destroyed and if agrotechnics is unbroken to erosion processes. With erosion, not only relates all the soil or part of it, but strongly behave its most important parts (clay, humus, nutrients). She also has other negative consequences: unregulated water regime in watercourses, floods, lifting the groundwater level, precipitation of large quantities of rough sediment, destruction of infrastructure facilities, charging artificial accumulations with sediment, etc. With the map for soil erosion, five categories of erosion are presented, whose intensity decreases from ⅰ Concludes. The first three categories amount to 38% of the territory of the Republic of Macedonia. The produced annual layer with erosion corresponds to 1,700 ha soil, deep 100 cm. The Republic of Macedonia is one of the most endangered countries with erosion in Europe. F. F.
