Foam – Left tributary of r. Vardar. It springs under the top Ginny Bey on Shar Planina, at a height of 2,400 m, and in Vardar it flows to the village of Saraqino at a height of 415 m. It is 37 km long, has a total decline of 1,985 m and an average decline of 54 ‰. The source to the bottom of the Polog valley has expressed mountain, and from the city of Tetovo to the basin flat character. Due to the great decline and the poor resistance of the erosion process of the rocky masses it has a torrential character. By reducing the fall in the Polog valley in the spring and in the autumn it causes floods. In 1926 It was built the first greater flow hydroelectric power plant in Macedonia “Foam”. Dr. C.
