Peshev, Pance Nikolov (Veles, 5. ⅶ 1915 – In the village. Kushkulia, on Sq. Plachkovica, 5. ⅵ 1944) – composer and choral conductor, fighter. Elementary school and gymnasium ends in Kumanovo, where as a student starts the revolutionary and musical activity. P. He devotes his life to the advanced workers’ movement and music. Learn violin at the music school “Mokrovac” in Skopje, in Tre. Prokopiev, as well as theoretical objects at the music school “Stankovic” in Belgrade. Music lessons takes private at J. Slavic and J. Arbathic. Participating in workers’ amateur orchestras and choral societies, it also shows as a conductor of some of those collectives. He also directed with the choir and orchestra “Abrasevic” in Kumanovo (1935-1936). On the occasion of the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, it compose the mass song class green to its own text, calling the youth in the fight against fascism. During New (1941-1944), his musical materials were destroyed by the occupier. Not knowing that it is located in the partisan units, Orgular Arbathically, according to the existing programs, he also performed his “Sixth Sonata for Orguli” at the concerts in Prague (1942) and Leipzig (1943). To date, it is not confirmed whether it is a matter of our musician. P. Is the author of the most popular Macedonian fighting song from the NOB – “The March of the Third Macedonian Drill Brigade”, the text of Aco Shopov, a fighter of the same brigade. He was a fighter of NOO “Dimitar Vlahov”, the Kumanovo NOOP and the third largest. In the May (Spring) offensive (1944), when returning to the Brigade from the Aegean part of Macedonia, he died in a conflict with the Bulgarian army. Lit.: Veles and Veles in New 1941-1945.
