Negotive uprising

Negotive uprising (February – April 1822) – local uprising in the surroundings of Neurush, under the influence of the Greek uprising. It took local Macedonians, Greeks and Vlachs. At the head of the uprising were L. Zafirakis, Anastas Karato Older, Angel Gaco, Diamadis, etc. Zirakikis was political, and the Karasah the older military leader. The uprising began with an attack on the Ottoman garrison in Neurs, which was destroyed, and the city was released. Map of the untested uprising rebellion formed a military headquarters. The occupation of Negush contributed to the rebels to join the population from Hosting, Passess, Grammarikovo, Catrica, etc. populated places. The uprising was spreading towards water and Kostur, and many villages were spread. Bistrica. The number of rebels has increased. The Ottoman authorities feared the attack on Thessaloniki. A regular army under the command of Labud Pasha was sent against the rebellion. The uprising was stifled, and part of the rebels managed to escape south and join Greek insurgents.
