Pavlovic, Miodrag

Pavlovic, Miodrag (Novi Sad, 28. 1928) – Serbian poet and essayist, continuer of the tradition of intellectual poetry, with airtight accents (87 songs, 1952, a pillar of memory, 1953, Octamiiodrag Pavlovic, 1957, milk of substances, 1962, Greater Scythia, 1969). Great attention caused as an essayist (deadlines of poetry, 1958, eight poets, 1964), as an anthologist (anthology of Serbian poetry, 1964, anthology of contemporary English poetry, 1956 – in co-authorship with S. Brkic). He is also the author of books with essays and literary criticism: Foam diary (1972), Poetry and Culture (1974). In 1970 He received a golden wreath at the SVP. Lit.: Petre M.
