Easter folk songs – lyrical ritual calendar songs. Are fulfilled during the three days of the Easter holiday. They sing for Christ’s resurrection, for various Christian saints, for the present as an important moment of Easter celebrations, etc. Most of them are fulfilled on the dance, so as union songs, contain frequent dialogues. He belonging to the cycle of spring ritual songs, singing for a woken nature, for the re-return of life, but also for loving dreams, family relationships and various mythological creatures. Among them, the songs that pull the character of Marko Kral or other heroes from the hero Epos are occupied.
