Vasilic folk songs

Vasilic folk songs – lyrical ritual calendar songs, per content and purpose similar to the collision. The New Year separately celebrated children from adults. The children celebrated it with customs and songs, which are close to those of Christmas Eve. And these songs do not have a developed melody, but they are told by stimulation, with characteristic shouts at the end of the song. Through the songs, beautiful desires and blessings for native year: crude, raw year, / large class of field, / large grape of lineage, / yellow mammule, / live Hello to year, / to year, to Amina. The songs that are singing adults are part of the ritual game and are in operation of the ritual. They are filled with blessings, humor, but also with vulgar elements in harmony with the ritual. The songs complement the festive atmosphere of marking at the beginning of the new year and initiate the health and progress of the individual and the wider community, but also a rich genus of agricultural crops.
