Thirsty – a secondary mountain that stretches between the Skopje valley to the east and the Polog valley in the west. In the north and northeast is separated by a bow of the river Vardar from the branches of Shar Planina and Skopska Crna Gora; From the southeast with a Boardic and carpeting field – parts of the Skopje road to Jegunovce on Mountain thirsty valley, and from the south is the Special Valley Tetovo Suvilica. The thirsty mountain stretches in the direction of JZs and occupies a total area of 109 km². Any is rounded and several peaks are rising from which the highest is a large stone (1,264 m). The geological composition is represented by massive marbled limestones that lie through crystalline shales. It is an anhydrous mountain, but there are several sources in the foot. The most significant among them is the source Rasche with a 6 m³ / SEC joint, from which the City of Skopje is supplied with water. Lit.: D.
