Precipitation in Macedonia. Precipitation in Macedonia is mainly from rain, and in the winter period there is snow. The sum of the snow at a height of 400 m NV. The geographical distribution of precipitation in Macedonia is quite irregular, conditioned mainly by the complicated relief, general and secondary air circulation and from the occurrence of thermal convection precipitation. According to the geographical distribution of precipitation, the most suitable space in Macedonia is its central part (from Gradsko to Skopje, as well as the Radovish and Prilep field), with an average annual amount of precipitation from 440 to 492 mm. From this area, precipitation is increasing in all directions. They in Prilep, Stip, Kocani and Delchevo Figure are 500-600 mm, and in the Struga, the resen end and in the lower course of Vardar are 700 -800 mm. The most precipitation receive the mountains in the west of the Vardar River, and especially the mountains of the Macedonian-Albanian border. The most precipitation in Macedonia is in the basin of the Radika River, over 1,400 mm, and over 1,000 mm have the eastern slopes of Korab and Jablanica and the area of Mavrovo Lake. On Mount Jakupica is about 1,000 mm, and the mountains in eastern Macedonia, east of the river Vardar are below 1,000 mm per year. Rainfall is mostly in autumn, in the months of October and November. The secondary maximum is in April and May. In Macedonia, the occurrences of torrential rainfall in the summer period followed by the occurrence of the city. Most EUROPEAN AREAS are Berovo, Kumanovo, Gevgelija, Strumica and Pelagonia. The phenomena of the city has every year in the months of May and June, and in some years and in other months and cause significant damages, which are always limited to smaller surfaces.
