Pot, Ljube

Pota, Ljube (Krushevo, 3. ⅹⅰⅰ 1918) – urbanist. He graduated from the architectural department at the Technical Faculty in Belgrade (1948). He worked in several designers and was the first director of the Institute for Urbanism and Architecture in Skopje. As an expert of UN worked in the countries of South and Central America. Mostly deals with urban planning. Made urban plans for several cities in MacedoniaTetovo (1948), Berovo (1950), Kavadarci (1951), Krusevo (1952), Resen, as well as detailed urban plans for Skopje. He participates in the preparation of the Urban Plan of Skopje after the devastating earthquake. He also dealt with architectural design – department store “July 26” in Skopje and several residential buildings, as well as with publicistics. He published hundreds of articles with architectural and urban issues in expert magazines and in the daily press. Cr. T.
