Cities in Macedonia – the development of the city as urban agglomeration on the territory of Macedonia. Cities are developing more historical periods, with different dynamics, always depending on the type and degree of conditionality (historical, geographical, natural, religious, military, etc.). Types of urban / urban agglomeration vary depending on the listed factors, but mostly from the specificity of the historical moment in which their genesis is considered. On the territory of Macedonia there are remains of cities in the period of antiquity, from the period of Byzantine rule, as well as cities that developed during the Ottoman rule, most of the S “still persist integrated with all historical layers within today’s urban structures .
