Nematodi

Nematodes (Navite) – small spindle worms. They have a simple body in the form of a thread or fiber (no, impertess gr. = Fiber). The size of the body is variable. They live in seas, in terrestrial waters and in soil, and a small number of parasite of plants, animals and man. About 10,000 types were registered, although their number is significantly higher. In Macedonia, endemic species are encountered by Ohrid Lake: Terriceus Subsesotous SCHNEEID, Neochardy Trilineaus SCHNEEDER and PULCTOROR OCHRIDENSIS SCHNEEDER.
