Mirevski, Dimitar Stoyanov (Dimce Mire) (Prilep, 10. 1910, Skopje, 4. ⅸ 1991) – archaeologist, historian and archivist, national Dean, politician and statesman, reserve captain of the JNA. Primary education ended in Prilep, gymnasium in Bitola and Faculty of Philosophy (group of archeology) at the Belgrade University (1935). He participated in organizing labor strikes in Prilep and in elections in 1936 and 1938. For political reasons, he was absent and persecuted and until 1940. could not get a civil service. He was one of the participants of the conversation of a group of Macedonian intellectuals (K. Racin, Lj. Arsov, etc.) with prof. N. Vulic (1939) regarding the Macedonian national question. He was later a professor at the Serbian high school in Pec (until April 1941) and Bulgarian gymnasiums in Kratovo (1 ⅸ 1941 – 31. ⅷ 1942) and Lovech (Bulgaria, 1. ⅸ 1942 – 6. 1943). Due to the anistic activity (support for progressive professors and youth), he was dismissed and interned in the work camp in Chuchulovo (Pirin part of Macedonia, until August 1943), where they found M. Andonoven, o. Lape and other Macedonian Makers. Then he was returned to Lovech (September 1943). After returning to Macedonia, he became a fighter on the second (from 20. and 1944), and then on the fifth Macedonian but brigade. He was a member of ASNOM (from August 1944). The second session of ASNOM was elected a member of the Presidium and a trustee for the Education of DFM. After the liberation, he was a member of the Presidium of the National Assembly, vice president of the Planning Committee, Minister of Education of NRM (1947-1951), director of the Directorate of Public Office, President of the National Assembly of NRM (1951-1955), a People MP in the Republic Council of The National Assembly of the NRM, chairman of the committee board, member of the Main Board of the SSRM and the Main Board of SSRNJ, President of the Association of the Archivists of Macedonia, President of the House of Immigrants from Macedonia, and to the retirement director of the Archives of Macedonia (1960 -1978). Six modern archival buildings in SRM were built under his leadership. He is the author of a brochure and more articles and articles from history and archiving.
