Mickovic, Miodrag (Prilep, 10. ⅹ 1938) – a journalist. He finished school at the Institute of Journalism in Belgrade (1974). He was employed in c. “Nova Makedonija” (1962-2003), as the editor of the sports box (1973-2000), and then was the commentator and editor-in-chief in the daily sports newspaper “Jump” (2000-2003). He reported from three summer Olympics (1972, 1976 and 1980), from the winter (1984) and the Chess Olympics in Skopje (1972), from the world football championships (1974, 1982 and 1990) and from European and more other championships in various sports. He is also known as a football worker. D. S.
