Konstantinov, Milos Hristov

Konstantinov, Milos Hristov (Resen, 26. 1926 – Skopje, 7. 1993) – Ethnologist, historian and publicist, longtime director of the city archives of Bitola and Skopje, university professor. Elementary school and high school finished in Bitola (1937-1946). He was a participant in NOVM and the JNA service (1944-1947). He issued the Brigadier newspaper “Beam” (1944) and published verses. After finishing the one-year exchange rate for journalists in Tanjug School (1947/1948), he was appointed by Tanjug correspondent for Bitola-based Bitola. After graduating from the Skopje Faculty of Philosophy – the Ethnology Group (1954), was appointed director of the archive in Bitola (1956). He received his doctorate at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje on the topic “Crafts and guilds in Bitola and the district” (1960). He was later appointed director of the archive of Skopje (1964), elected to senior research associate (1968) and scientific adviser (1969). After retirement (1984) elected full professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in the teaching subjects ethnology of the Macedonians, the ethnology of the European peoples and the ethnology of the Non-European peoples. Author and co-author of a number of monographs, studies and other articles, a collection of poetry for children and several books prose on topics of the Macedonian past. He often worked as a co-author with his brother Dusan Konstantinov (C). It has a significant contribution to the research of the Macedonian past, the ethnology of the Macedonians and archivists in Macedonia.
