Jovanovski, Elijah (Possud. Tsvetan) (village. Toplice, Prilep, 1921 – p. Zdling, Mariovska 18. ⅷ 1944) – Communist Dean and Price. As a member of the SCOY (1939) he was a participant in the Ilinden demonstrations in Prilep (1940), and then he became a member of the KP in Macedonia (after August 1940). After the April war (1941), after the call for serving the military term in the Bulgarian army, he crossed in the illegality and became a fighter on the first Prilep NOO “Goce Delchev” (1941). Later he was on illegal work in Prespa (1942), a fighter of the NOO “Dame Gruev” and deputy commander of the Battalion of the First Macedonian-Kosovo Nawb. The GS of New and Pom was also used for courier ties. He died as deputy commander of the fifth Macedonian but brigade. He was proclaimed for the folk hero of Yugoslavia (2 ⅶ 1952).
