Gypsum

Gypsum – mineral from the group of sulphates that crystallize monoline. It usually appears in very nicely developed crystals that are developed along the side pinakoid and are plated or pistoled, elongated after the crystallographic axis (C). Very common are the occurrence of blint, where such samples have a tail of a swallow. The color of the gypsum is usually be-la, gray or yellowish, and in some cases it can be painted with red shades. The fortress is 2 (after the Mosh scale). There is perfect ceplessness. On the territory of the Republic of Macedonia appears in many geological formations such as a hydrothermal mineral, but the most beautiful crystals are still at the site in the surroundings of Debar.
