Gigov-Andro, Strahil (Veles, 16. IX 1909 – Skopje, 19. 1999) – A member of the workers’, trade union and communist movement, participant in the National NOB, Party and State Head, People’s Hero. Member of the Meat Trade Union Council in Veles (1928), the CPY (from 1929) and the MK of the CPY for Veles (from 1932). At the end of 1934 He was imprisoned and sentenced to three years of Robia (1934-1936) at the prison in Sremska Mitrovica. He was a member of the PC political Activa of the CPY for Macedonia (1938-1940). In the summer of the same year he was arrested for two months in the investigative prison in Belgrade, and from the end of 1940 to 3. ⅳ 1941. in the prison at Ivanjica (interchange). At the end of 1941 he was elected secretary of the MK of the CPY for Veles, and in February 1942. and for the secretary of the District Committee in Veles. Since September 1942 by the end of February 1943 He was a member of the PC of the CPY for Macedonia. In late February 1943, he was elected a member of the CPM Central (in its establishment), and in March and for a member of the GS of NOB and POM. He was a member of the Initiative Board for convening the first Amount of ASNOM and a delegate of the first session of ASNOM, where he was elected a trustee for announcements and construction. He was a member of the second session of AVNY and a member of NC. After the war, he performed several state functions in Macedonia and in Yugoslavia (secretary and member of the Presidium of ASNOM, Minister of Construction, Traffic and Industry in the Government of Macedonia, a member of the CCM CC, at the CC of SKJ, of CSOs of Macedonia, The CO of the Szbenov, the Federation Council, etc.).
