Demographic transition

Demographic transition – a transition from one to another model of reproduction of the population. In the Republic of Macedonia, on the basis of the demographic trends (the rate of birth rate of 40.7 ‰ for 1948, it was reduced to 13.8 ‰, 2002), it can be concluded that the demographic transition process is closed. At the same time, it would mean that the state is approaching the “threshold” of the statute Eta-so from its demographic development.
