Debar Lake

Debar Lake (Spilje) – Artificial lake built in the valley of R. Black drim. The dam, built in 1969, is a stone and gravel, and the core is clay. The total height of the shape of the foundation to the crown is 112 m, while the height above the terrain is 101 m. The crown of the dam is at a height of 587 m, it is 300 m long, and the width of the crown is 10 m. The lake is 23 km long, the biggest width is 2.2 km, and the average 0.6 km. It covers an area of ​​12.2 2km, and it accumulated 3 520 million IVOs. The basic purpose of using water is electricity generation (70 mg), irrigation of 1,980 ha of agricultural areas in Debar field, fishing and cultivation of fish, tourism and recreation.
