Yugoslav-Bulgarian friendship agreement (1937). Before the end of 1936 The United Kingdom committed pressure on the government of Yugoslavia to win Bulgaria for the Balkan pact. Yugoslavia and Bulgaria have concluded, Belgrade, an agreement on eternal friendship (24. ⅰ 1937). Before the signing of the public agreement, they harmonized the interests, achieving a secret agreement under which Bulgaria committed to abandon the claims towards the Vardar part of Macedonia and to seek territories in Serbia received Yugoslavia with the Nejan Treaty (1919), Bostrographic and Customs And Yugoslavia pledged to support Bulgaria for exit to the Aegean Sea.
