Vishanov-Molera, Thomas Hadzikonomov

Visanov-Molera, Toma Hadzikonomov (Bansko, 1759 -?, OK. 1815) Iconiteic and Zograf, the founder of the Bannian picturesque school. With zografal education he gained in Vienna (ok. 1770). After returning, he was called Molera according to GERM. Mahler (painting). He was influenced by the Debar IConopic School. Worked in Bansko, in the church “Pokrov Virgin” at the migrations “St. Luke “At the Rila Monastery (1811, 24 scenes), in the Kurjan monastery (1812-1913), Disclosk, District and Kyustendil. He cherished realism in painting and was particularly successful in the material portraits (the Thesomene Theodosius). His unique iconostal icons from the ceminary church in Bansko burned (1953). He was a teacher of several young icon paintings and painters, as well as several heirs of his birth – son Dimitar Molesel (1780-1870), grandson Simeon Molov (1816-1903) and the greatian Gjorgji Molov (1844-1876).
