Velica Diocese (893) – The bishopian managed by Sts. Kliment Ohridski and carried the title Bishop of Veliki (893-916). It is recorded in the month of Aseman Gospel (Clementa EP, SKPA Velicziskgo) and in some of his Slums (led by Klimen Tiszovic Episcopemic Velicik »Mj), as well as in the lit. The view of the Great Diocese is not yet to the end clarified and there are different opinions, and it is likely that it covered the territory of Ohrid, according to R. Fever (Great or great river) to Skopje. In the MOC, the title of this diocese is awarded only to Vicare Hierarchs. St. Clement’s Velichka-Dioctese diocese had a pure ancient Macedonian Slavic character, was worshiped and administered by an ancient Macedonian Slavic language and was the beginning of the autocephalous Ohrid Archbishopric.
