Vasic, Rastko (Belgrade, 1937) – archaeologist. He graduated in 1961. At the Department of Archeology at the Faculty of Philosophy in a white city, at which Master’s degree (1964) and PhD (1971) with the topic of the older Iron time in the then SFRY. He works at the Archaeological Institute in Belgrade. He published more than 250 papers (studies, articles, criticism and displays), most of whom refers to the Iron Age in the Balkans. Part of his scientific opus has special significance for the study of the so-called. “Macedonian bronze” because he published a number of archaeological objects from the Iron Age, originating in the wider geographical ethnocultural space of Macedonia, and in various grounds owned by Balkan and European museums.
