Union of Bulgarian Constitutional Clubs

Union of Bulgarian Constitutional Clubs (1908 -1909). After the victory of the Young Turk Revolution, after the establishment of constitutional arrangement with the direct engagement of the Government of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Exarchate in Macedonia, Bulgarian constitutional clubs were established, which united in an alliance as the only political organization, an exponent of the Bulgarian state policy. The covenant officially declared that it will act to preserve the whole and general interests of the Ottoman state. The main program requirements were: a new administrative division, by grouping the population according to national affiliation, and municipal self-government.
