Majority democracy in the DFM / NRM / SRM / RM – Share of majority decision-making. The majority decision-making can be relatively (majority votes of the envisaged quorum), absolutely (one voice more than half selected members of the body) or a qualified majority of the votes of the total number of selected persons (eg 2/3, 3/5, 3 / 4). The rule of the majority is a democratic form of decision-making, because it aims to prevent the rule (as well as tyranny) of the minority. By guaranteeing various rights of minorities, the majority decision-making knows ASNOM and all the constitutions of Macedonia, the Constitution of the NRM since 1946. to the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia since 1991 With the relative and absolute majority, the laws are adopted, and with a qualified majority (2/3) the Constitution and constitutional amendments. With a two-thirds majority, several laws of greater importance for the Republic of Macedonia (Law on State Symbols, Law on Courts, Law on the State Administration, Law on Defense, Law on Local Self-Government and Law Procedures) are adopted. With the constitutional amendments since 2001 The majority democracy is corrected with the Badinter majority when it comes to decision-making on issues of interest of communities that are not the majority in the Republic of Macedonia.
