Tapestry

Tapestry (FRA. Tazis – wovenica) – Textile art for creating decorative covers for walls and floors, for parts of furniture or as an independent work of art. The tapestry is weaving manually, on the loom, mostly with natural yarn, wool, linen, cotton, silk. The most famous tapestry center was the city of Arar in France. In the Republic of Macedonia, the first tapestries create L. Lichenoski and D. Protoyer. Later include D. Coco, D. Miljanovski, D. Tomic-Radevska and F. Zdravev. Al. Cv.
