Samuel, Alusian (ⅺ c.) – The son of Alusian, grandson of Emperor John Vlivo Byzantine service. At the time of Emperor Roman ⅳ Diogen (1068-1071) he occupied a high military duty in Armeniakon. He participated in the campaign of the Emperor against Seljuki (1068), he pointed out in calming the rebellion of Crispin (1069), he received Qin Proiter and was appointed Dux on the topic Armeniakon, i.e. Commander of the five Western tags and the wage armies in the topic.
