Religious Communities in the Republic of Macedonia (- Religious organizations of religious communities and religious groups. According to the Law on Religious Communities and religious groups, religious communities represent voluntarily organized, non-profit communities of believers from the same religion, and religious groups are voluntary, non-profit associations of believers with the same religious conviction that does not belong to a registered religious community. Religious communities are organizations of believers belonging to religions with a long tradition on the territory of Macedonia – the Christian, Islamic or Judah. For each religion, there may be one religious community. In Christian communities enter: The Macedonian Orthodox Church, the Catholic Church, the Evangelical Methodist Church, the Christian Adventist Church, the Christian Baptist Church “Joyful Vest”, the Evangelical and Convangelical Church, the Evangelical Church in the Republic of Macedonia, God’s Church, the newlyfather Church in Macedonia, the Independent Hristova Church, Christian Church “Blaga Vest”. Islamic communities are: Islamic Religious Community of the Republic of Macedonia and the Bektashi religious community (the first prices that the Dervish Bektashi order is its integral part). Judah religion is represented by the Jewish religious community. Religious organizations are emitted by the state and are equal before the law.
