Protection of biodiversity. Intensive utilization of forests, water pollution, intense hunting of fish or animals, lead to a reduction in their number in nature and disappearing of many types of living organisms. In Macedonia, it is particularly pronounced in rivers in the natural lakes, where there are whole populations and animals (reduced the catch in our lakes, the fish in the rivers and trout in Ohrid Lake). Any disappearance of living organisms causes depletion of ecosystems and threatening them. L. Gr.
