Prkew-seren, Vanco Hristov (village serenin, Gevgelija, 1921 – above the village of Gradec, Kocani, 21. ⅴ 1943) – National and communist Deper, a national hero. In Shtip, a gymnasium ended, and then studied at the Technical Faculty in Belgrade (from 1939), where he became a member of the CPY (1941). Along with studies, IP “Nolit” translated Russian literature. Before the fascist occupation he returned to Macedonia and was one of the organizers of the NOB in Stip. As a member of the Criminal Committee of the CPM (1943), he stayed in Bitola and Bitola and Bitola and Bitola Commissioner of Bitolas PressPan NOO. Then he returned to Stip (April 1943) and became a political commissioner of the newly formed Permaid NOOP. The unit was surrounded and he died in a fight against the Bulgarian army and police. He was proclaimed for the folk hero of Yugoslavia (2 ⅷ 1949). Exhibition: M (Ara) Minanova, the last sight.
