Popovski, Georgi Stalev (Vitilole, Mariovo, 22. ⅳ 1930) – UNIV. Professor, poet, proseist, playwright, scientist and translator of classical poetry (Pushkin, Lermontov, Byron, Dante, Petrarch, Prlichev, etc.). He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje.
