Pop Hristov, Georgi

Pop Hristov, Georgi (village Crossar, Bitola, 1878 – Sofia, 19. ⅱ 1962) – Teacher, revolutionary, participant in the Ilinden Uprising. Graduated from the pedagogical course of the Thessaloniki Exarchical Gymnasium (1896). He was a teacher in Kavadarci, Prilep and Bitola and a member of the Bitola District Committee (1900- 1903). Participant of the Smilevo Congress (1903) and the Ilinden Uprising in the Lerin region. In 1910 He was arrested and tortured in Asia Minor, escaped in 1911.
