Petrov, Gjorce (Varos, Prilep, 2. ⅳ 1865 – Sofia, 28. ⅶ 1921) – Professor, publicist, historian, Ideologist of the MRO. He was educated in Prilep, Bitola, Thessaloniki and Plovdiv. He was a teacher in Stip (1886-1887). He founded several revolutionary groups and Curger Petrov Joki of the MoR (Stip, Bitola, Prilep, Ohrid, Krusevo, Kicevo, Resen, Lerin and Kostur). As a teacher in Skopje (1888-1891) he collaborated with Metropolitan Theodosius Gologanov and supported his idea of renewing the Ohrid Archbishopric. He was a professor in Bitola (1891-1895) and the Exarchatic High School in Thessaloniki (1895- 1897). Member of the CC of the MRO. He participated in the Thessaloniki Congress (1896) and was one of the compilers of the Constitution and the Rulebook of TMORO. He published the book “Materials after the study of Macedonia” (Sofia, 1896). He was a terrified representative of TMORO (along with Goce Delchev) in Sofia (1897-1901). He participated in the rediscovering of the revolutionary hectography newspaper “On Arms” (Bitola). In the Ilinden Uprising (1903) led the company in Prilep and Mariovo. After the uprising he remained in Macedonia and worked on the renewal of the organizational network; He participated in Prilep (1904), Strumica (1905) and the Ril the General Congress (1905). The Rila Congress was re-elected for the Border Representative of the Organization in Sofia. Reducted the SP. “Cultural Unity” (Thessaloniki, 1908-1909). At the time of the Balkan (1912 -1913) and the First World War (1914-1918) he was served in Serez, Bitola and drama. Member of the provisional representative office of the former VMRO (1919), an opponent of the Verurism and the divisions of Macedonia at the Versaille Conference.
