People’s Front of Macedonia

The National Front of Macedonia (2-3 ⅷ 1945-1991) – a mass political organization formed before the Second World War, active at the time of the anti-fascist national liberation war in Macedonia (1941-1944) and after the release of the country. NF functioned as a prolonged hand of the CPM, but also the bodies of the fight and the bodies of the new government that was created during the fight. At the First Congress, held on July 2-3, 1945. In Skopje, the authorities were elected, thus institutionally obtained the character of a mass political organization, mainly for the realization of political-propaganda tasks. It was intensively involved in the activities for rebuilding and building a NRM. He also acted as a coordinator of the work of other mass political organizations in achieving the tasks received from the CPM.
