Mountain roads

Mountain roads – pathways connecting economic areas into two or more regions of the country or are of special importance for the state. The highways are also in their composition. Mountain roads (other than the main road Skopje & Belgrade highways) are built with two traffic lanes on one pavement for two-way traffic. Only engine traffic takes place. The crossing of road routes is resolved in full level, partially in and out level and completely in one level. The main road routes in the road network are considered: M-1 (border with RS-Tabanovce-Kumanovo-Miladinovci-Petrovec-Veles-Negotino-Demir Kapija-Gevgelija-Bogorodica-border with WG); M-2 (border with RB-Deve Bair-Kriva Palanka-Kumanovo); M-3 (border with RS-Blace-Skopje at Mo-min stream-Petrovec); M-4 (Miladinovci-Skopje in Hippodrome-Tetovo-Gostivar-Kicevo-Zemolje-Struga-Kafasan-border with R Albania); M-5 (border with RB-Delcevo-Kocani-Stip-Veles-Source-Prilep-Topecutor-Ni-Bitola-Resen-Kosel-Ohrid-Zemolje, with the Krak Bitola-Medzitlija-border with WG) and M-6 (Stip -Radish-Strumica-Novo Selo-border with RB) (c.
