Moser, Josip

Moser, Josip (Osijek, Croatia, 12. ⅸ 1915 – Zagreb, 20. 1997) – Physicist, Order. Prof. (1965) on PMF. Graduated (1937) Mathematics and Physics in Zagreb. PhD (1962) on the PMF with the theme “diffraction of light in zone networks”. Worked as a high school professor in a series of Yugoslav cities, and since 1950. He was on the PMF in Skopje, where he introduced more theoretical subjects of physics. He specialized in Braunschweig and Göttingen. He taught in Pristina, Sarajevo and Zagreb and is remembered as a remarkable lecturer. He published Joseph Mozer about 120 articles, most of them after retirement, related mainly with physical optics, as well as several high school and university textbooks (“Quantum Mechanics”, 1963). He was mentor of 8 doctorates, president of DMFM and an honorary member of the DFM.
