Moravanska Kirilometodievski literary school. It is the oldest phase of the development of Slavic literacy. It involves the literary activity of Constantine-Cyril and Methodius and their students at the time of the Moravian Mission (863885), during which the foundations of the Slavic written culture were placed. The Moravian School introduces an original Slavic script – a verbal, composed of Constantine-Cyril, and the first Slavic written language – Old Slavic, based on the Southern Macedonian dialect area. This language is close to the Prague. During the use in V. Moravia includes separate language funds from Western Slavic origin, which become an integral part of the Moravian language norm. The Moravian School develops a rich literary activity, translated and original. All basic manuals necessary for the liturgy, for Christian education and the organization of Christian life. The literary opus of the Moravian School is not completely saved, the oldest-known manuscript are Kiev petals (Misal) of ⅹ c. Therefore, it is reconstructed on the basis of later transcripts, which keep the Kirilometodiev’s tradition.
