Mickovic, Slobodan (Bitola, 18. ⅵ 1935 – Skopje, 21. ⅴ 2002) – essayist, critic, novelist, translator, UNIV. Professor. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Skopje. Worked as an editor of artistic literature at the publishing house “Thought”, as well as in the Macedonian National Theater. He was the editor of the SP. “Previews”. Doctor of Philological Sciences. He was a professor at the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski” in Skopje and Head of the Institute for Macedonian Literature. He was chairman of the Council of Struga Poetry Evenings. Member of the Macedonian DPM (1965).
