Macedonian National Theater (Skopje, 31. and 1945-) – First National Professional Theater. It is established by a decision of the Macedonian National Theater in Skopje before the earthquake (1963) the new facility of the Macedonian National Theater in Skopje Dummy of ASNOM, and the first director was Dimitar Kyostarov. The first held play was “Plato Krecet” by Aleksandar Cornichuk (3. 1945), and the first play from the Macedonian author drama “Storbarija Teodos” by Vasil Iljoski (18. 1945). It also occurs as the founder of the puppet theater in Skopje (1946) and the district theater in Upper Jumia, the Pirin part of Macedonia (1947). Then the opera of the MNT (1947) was established, headed by the first director Todor Scalovski, and the first play was the opera “Cavalry Rustic” from Pietro Mascagni (9. 1947). Then the foundation of the Balet of MNT (1949) with the first Head Gjorgji Makedonski, and the first ballet performance was “Valpurgian Night” by Charles Guno (27th and 1949). The first shown ballet from the Macedonian author was “Macedonian sword” from Gligor Smoque (21. 1953), and the first opera from the Macedonian author was “Goce” from Cyril Macedonian (24. ⅴ 1954). The opera of the MNT is organized by the May Opera Evenings (since 1972). In the first five decades (1945-1995), 4,800,000 viewers of the drama, opera and ballet performances in the country and abroad were registered.
