Micanovic, Antun (Antun Michanov) (Zagreb, Croatia, 10. 1796 – New courtyards, Croatia, 14. 1861) – Forbag of Croatian national revival, a famous collector of the old Slavic manuscripts. In the capacity of the Austrian consul, there is also in Thessaloniki (OK 1840), from where he visits the monasteries in Macedonia and St. Gora and shapes a collection that contains Serbian and Macedonian manuscripts originally from North-Macedonian and the onthly monasteries. Michanel’s collection (38 Cyrillic manuscripts) is kept in Zagreb, Archive of Huzu. Lit.: V.
