Meneli Pelagonia

Menelaus Pelagonia (the first half and the middle of the century BC) – Linkedidal dignant, maybe the son of the Linkestid Basilevs Araby ⅲ. There is no confirmation in the sources that he was a ruler of Linkestida. In the period when the Athenian strategists acted against the Macedonian king Perdiccas, he helped Athens in Amphol (OK. 350 BCE). Later he became a citizen of Athens and is mentioned in the late 360s BCE. On one inscription on a monument they raised the Athenians. Litt.: E. Petrova, Paionia, Skopje, 1999; C. Lilcic – N.
