Matov, Milan

Matov, Milan (Struga, 8. 1875 – Sofia, 21. 1962) – Teacher, participant in the Ilinden Uprising, Duke, brother of Hristo Matov. He studied gymnasium in Bitola, in 1900 joined the Macedonian Revolutionary Milan Mato. He fought in Struga in the uprising. He was a teacher in Struga (1904-1905) and school inspector (1909-1911). Since 1906 He managed the Bitola Revolutionary District. In September 1913 He managed the Ohrid Uprising. After the First World War, he was active in the Ilinden organization and the Macedonian Scientific Institute and advocated for stopping the mutual murders of the Macedonians. BBB.
